Training at Home

Earlier in the season we posted about Ezekiel and his dedication to training. We follow this up with both Ezekiel and Makenzie. Both can be seen arriving early to practice, and have been incredibly engaged with our training at home structure while Covid prevents team practices.

The most important element in the long term development of an individual is the individual themselves, not the coach or the organization. A player must put in the extra time, effort, and commitment in wanting to improve. Even at the elite level athletes will practice on their own or in small groups away from the coaches. Just 20 minutes before or after a team practice can be the same as an extra 44 hours of practice a year.

We will soon be returning back to the fields, and we encourage players to continue practicing with purpose, and through play, away from the scheduled practices with coaches.
