This was close to being a huge climax to Liverpool’s season, with the possibility of winning the league with a victory at the current holders.

Although the situation has changed, and Liverpool are already crowned the 19/20 Premier League Champions for the first time, this should be a great game, with two teams that love to attack, and now both playing to gain the respect of the other in their battle of the U.K’s top two teams. We are pleased and incredibly excited to announce our partnership with Oakland Roots.

Oakland Roots is a community based soccer club, with a playing roster of largely Bay Area players including Fremont YSC’s very own Sohrab Rashid. Sohrab played with the 1996 Boys Black, and having coached him through his time with the club from 12 years old till he graduated as a Senior, he showed the desire and commitment needed to make it to the next step of a players pathway from youth to adult soccer.

We can’t wait for the season to return for Oakland Roots, and we look forward to a relationship which will expose youth players to what it means to support a local team with its foundations in the local community, a club with a player pathway for local talent, and for the local soccer community to come together.
