Arunay Foundation

Early 2021 we the club experienced a devastating loss, with the disappearance of Arunay Pruthi, this hit the club, his friends and teammates, and the membership really hard. In memory of Arunay, we are reaching out for your support with the Arunay Foundation. Arunay had competed at the Silicon Valley Cup over many seasons, and he will continue to be sorely missed by all his team mates and the club.

Arunay Foundation aims to reduce beach accidents and coastal drownings by raising awareness and educating people about sneaker waves, rip currents, high surf, and other hazardous beach conditions. The focus of our organization will be on designing and implementing effective measures that can eventually save the lives of beachgoers. It is our hope that, together, we can raise awareness and make our beaches safer. 

Our three-pronged approach: Educate, Equip and Inform.

Check-Ins: 

For the check-in process at our 2022 California Cup Tournament, we have refined the process to reduce contact and maintain social distancing.

We will be doing an online check-in process.

The following will need to be completed for each team by 12PM on Wednesday, October 16th

  1. Upload Official Roster (provided by recreational league
  2. Upload California Cup Waiver Form – 2023 California Cup Team Check. PDF
  3. Letter from League Director/Director of Coaching stating that all players from the team participating in the tournament are recreational players and/or have qualified as recreational players through approval with the tournament director

Note that teams will not be allowed to participate in the tournament up until the above documents are submitted.

If you are going to have a guest player from a different club participating in the tournament, please have the following completed:

  1. Player must be added the roster and submitted above
  2. Team must have a player loan form filled out for each player and the form must be on hand during the tournament – Player Loan Form – US Club Soccer

Parking: 

Parking for the 2022 Kick or Treat Tournament will be available at the Parking signs shown on the map above, note that there are several other parking spots available around the Central Park Complex.

For Overflow Parking, we will have the California School for the Deaf Parking Lot open for use throughout the entirety of the tournament.
