COVID 19 Financial Support
While we as an industry are affected by the virus through it’s knock on effect it has on the economy, with our staff reliant on the clubs financial health for their main source of income, we understand that our club members are also going to be finding these current times financially challenging with restraints on their ability to earn an income through layoffs and reduced hours. We provide an environment in which players, parents, and coaches are proud to be associated with our organization regardless of financial ability. We are proud of the Fremont YSC Financial Aid Foundation to aid in addressing the financial needs of our players. No child should miss out on youth sports due to financial restrictions.
Subject to the availability of funds, Fremont YSC shall award financial aid for its soccer program costs to those members that demonstrate a need or financial hardship. The decision to make any award, the amount thereof, and the beneficiaries shall be made from a complete financial aid application form, this can be found at the bottom of the page. Financial Aid applications and the awarding of financial aid is at the discretion of the Executive Director, but will be available to the Executive Board for review if requested.
Any Fremont YSC member (Rec, Afterschools, Comp) is eligible to apply for financial aid.
The awarding of financial aid is primarily based on family income. Other factors such as unemployment or other financial hardships may be considered.
Complete copies of most recent year federal income tax returns along with W-2’s for all employed family members. Copies of most recent payroll stubs for all employed family members, which reflect year-to-date earnings. Copies of any court orders (i.e. divorce papers) regarding financial responsibility and / or support for the player.
For Rec and Afterschool applications, we ask for either School Meals Vouchers, CalFresh enrollment, or PG&E support billing.
All we ask for in return for financial aid, is your support towards the club. There are many times throughout the year where we will be relying on the use of volunteers to support our club events, many of these raising funds for the financial aid foundation. We ask that you please help us and volunteer at these events.

Fremont YSC has a limited number of compensated positions (e.g., referees, field set up, camp assistants, etc.) and volunteer positions (e.g., Age Group Coordinators, tournament volunteers, etc.) which offer individuals an opportunity to cover registration costs or to give back to Fremont YSC. Please contact the Executive Director for more information.
