Parents

Parents are an important part of the player development model. All too often clubs consider parents as someone to ‘deal’ with, but this is a lazy approach to an important part of the long term equation. If we are to truly educate everyone in youth soccer then the parents must also be part of the communication. We hope this area of the website goes a long way towards helping parents navigate the youth sports arena, understanding what is important for players, and how best you can support the players.

On additional tabs you will find resources to additional programs and organizations that support the need for parent education and how important a positive environment is for players. You will also find a list of podcasts and interesting articles to listen to and read through respectively to enhance your understanding and to gain further understanding of the youth soccer landscape.

See the screenshot below of how you can find the resources to help support your club experience, and gain knowledge and understanding of the youth sports landscape, and how you can support your youth athlete. To see information about specific soccer structures and game model, please look under ‘players’.
