Fremont YSC is proud to host the seventh Annual Recreation Soccer Tournament for U10/U12/U14/U16/U19 Boys and Girls under its new name – CALIFORNIA CUP!
All Rosters should have been uploaded to your dashboard by Friday, November 8th. If any team has not done this, please contact me immediately.
Note that you must upload your official roster. This is the same roster that you will present at the check-in.
– This is done to verify that all teams are presenting the appropriate roster for a recreational team.
Please see the steps below to upload roster:
1. Download roster from team account
2. Save as PDF
3. Log into your team dashboard California Cup via eventconnect
4. Under Registration Requirements (bottom left of page), click on “upload player roster”
5. Upload saved roster file
All teams will need to check-in atleast 45 minutes prior to their first game. At check-in, all teams will need to provide the following:
- Official Team Roster
- Letter from Club President Stating that all players on the roster are recreational players
- All players present in full attire
- Teams will not need to check-in prior to their succeeding games
Game Schedule Format:
|Playing Format||Length of Halves||Half time||Ball Size||Max Roster||Max Guest|
|7v7||2×25 min||5 min||4||16 (14 per game)||5|
|9v9||2×25 min||5 min||4||18 (16 per game)||7|
|11v11||2×30 min||5 min||5||24 (18 per game)||7|
All games will kickoff right on time, teams must be present on field prior to the start of the game.
There are 10 minute gaps between 11v11 games and a 15 minute gap between 9v9/7v7 games. This means that there will not be much time to warm up on the playing field, we have therefore reserved fields 3 and 6 as designated warm-up areas. Teams are welcome to warm-up on those fields and then head over to their playing field at least 10 minutes before kickoff in order to be on field at least 5 minutes prior to kickoff.
Half times will be 5 minutes long, at the 4 minute mark, the referees will blow their whistle twice reminding teams and coaches to send their players out for the second half. Kickoffs will start promptly so please make sure your teams are prepared and on time.
We have chosen to use eventconnect for our registrations and tournament software. They offer a significantly easier to use platform and the variety of hotels to fill the needs of our travelling teams.
The only difference for the teams is that you will not see the 2019 Kick or Treat Tournament when you log into your gotsoccer account. You will need to go to eventconnect to log into your account and see the tournament details. All Tournament bracket winners will receive gotsoccer ranking points which you will then see on your gotsoccer account.
This tournament is a US Club Sanctioned Tournament.
The eventconnect app is available for all mobile devices free of charge, it enables all tournament attendees – players and coaches to access the tournament information, schedules and tournament information. There is also an efficient chat that teams can use to co-ordinate themselves during the weekend.
We will have 3 vendors at the tournament. Fine designs will be on site on both days providing custom tournament shirts and jackets. Harbor Photo Company will be taking team pictures during Saturday games and will have a booth open for all teams to order their pictures on Sunday
