Boasting well over 100 teams each year for the last 3 years, the longest running and original Kick or Treat, the Kick or Treat Tournament is a firm favorite. Offering Bronze and Copper teams the opportunity to play in a fun soccer tournament in amazing surroundings.

Check-in instructions: 

Primary Check-in:

For the first check-in of the tournament, teams and players must check-in at the main tournament check-in booth at least 45 minutes prior to your first game. There will be one main check-in area at each site, Central Park Soccer Complex and Hopkins Jr. High School. Teams must check-in at the site they are scheduled to play their games at.

At check-in you must have:

1.    Player passes for all players

2.    Have all players in full attire (shin guards and cleats with no metal studs)

  • All player passes must be current and all players must be represented on the team roster.
  • All Team Managers must have US Club Forms/Medical Release Forms for all players on hand or accessible online (See form Attached)

Check-ins for remaining games:

For all 2nd, 3rd and 4th games, teams will be required to check-in at least 30 minutes prior to their game. They will need to have their player passes on hand.


All 11v11 teams will play their games at the Central Park Soccer Complex and all 9v9/7v7 games will be played at the Hopkins Jr. High School. Please see attached the field maps for each location.

We have chosen to use eventconnect for our registrations and tournament software. They offer a significantly easier to use platform and the variety of hotels to fill the needs of our travelling teams.

The only difference for the teams is that you will not see the 2019 Kick or Treat Tournament when you log into your gotsoccer account. You will need to go to eventconnect to log into your account and see the tournament details. All Tournament bracket winners will receive gotsoccer ranking points which you will then see on your gotsoccer account.

This tournament is a US Club Sanctioned Tournament.

Halloween Theme/Costume Contest:

Kick or Treat is a Halloween themed tournament. All teams are strongly encouraged to wear costumes instead of jerseys to celebrate Halloween. Costumes cannot have any sharp or metal objects on it and must be conducive to play. Uniform numbers do not need to be represented on the back of the costume.

Eventconnect App:

The eventconnect app is available for all mobile devices free of charge, it enables all tournament attendees – players and coaches to access the tournament information, schedules and tournament information. There is also an efficient chat that teams can use to co-ordinate themselves during the weekend.


We will have 3 vendors at the tournament. Fine designs will be on site on both days providing custom tournament shirts and jackets. Harbor Photo Company will be taking team pictures during Saturday games and will have a booth open for all teams to order their pictures on Sunday (see sample attached). Lastly, Willis Cho will be on site for both days providing College Funding and Life Insurance opportunities.


If you click on the maps below, there is parking marked by the letter “P”. The main parking lot at Hopkins Jr. High will be at the Mission San Jose High School.  At Central Park, There will be also be a secondary parking lot located across Stevenson Blvd at the California School for the Deaf.


Fremont YSC is pleased to announce the Kick or Treat Tournament, held in beautiful Fremont, California. The Kick or Treat Tournament is tailored for U9-U19 Boys and Girls Bronze and Copper teams to help maximize their season. This tournament is sanctioned by US Club.

Central Park Soccer Complex – 1110 Stevenson Blvd, Fremont, CA

Hopkins Jr. High School – 600 Driscoll Road, Fremont, CA

U9-U19 Boys and Girls competitive teams.


This tournament is aimed at BRONZE & COPPER teams.


All teams are highly encouraged to wear Halloween costumes to this tournament. We will be having a costume contest where the winner will win free admission to our 2019 Kick or Treat tournament.

  • Teams will submit a picture of the team to the tournament twitter account: @FremontKoT
  • The winner of the costume contest will be announced the day following the event

Costume Guidelines and Policies:

  • Teams are encouraged to wear their costumes during their tournament games. Please make sure that all costumes are comfortable and conducive to playing 3-4 soccer games in a weekend
  • Please take into consideration safety regulations – make sure all costumes do not have any harmful objects that could hurt the player or an opponent
  • Uniform numbers are not required for costumes but please make sure to input all uniform numbers onto the tournament roster


Fremont Youth Soccer Club has partnered with EventConnect for the upcoming tournament season as its official and exclusive tournament management and accommodations provider. EventConnect has worked very closely with the Tournament and local hotels to provide the best options on amenities, value, and location. We please ask that teams use the hotels provided through this software as they help support our tournament.

Harbor Photography will be taking photos of the live action on the first day of tournament play. On the second day, teams will be able to purchase their pictures at the Harbor Photography Booth


Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games.

U9-U10 Boys and Girls teams play 7-a-side and may carry up to 14 players on their roster.

U11-U12 Boys and Girls teams play 9-a-side and may carry up to 16 players on their roster.

U13-U17 Boys and Girls teams play 11-a-side and may carry up to 18 players on their roster.

  • All games will be start and end with an Air Horn. 


Guest players are allowed;

U9-U12 – Maximum 5 Players

U13-U17 – Maximum 7 Players

Guest Players from the same club: For these players, the player must be added to the tournament roster and the team must have a valid laminated player pass and medical release form on hand for the player

Guest Players from a different club: For these players, the player must be added to the tournament roster and the team must have a valid laminated player pass and medical release form on hand for the player. In addition, the team must have a player loan form on hand that is signed by an authorized representative from both clubs.


Each team is required to have an e-mail address and a designated team contact in order to receive all tournament communications. All communication will be carried out via e-mail and the internet.

Parking at Central Park can be found at the designated parking spots shown on the map above. Additional parking is available across the street at the California School for the Deaf located at 39350 Galluadet Drive, Fremont, CA 94538

Hopkins Jr. High School – 600 Driscoll Road, Fremont, CA

Parking at Hopkins Jr. High can be found at the following locations:

41401 Mission Blvd, Fremont, CA – Parking on Mission next to the basketball and tennis courts

41717 Palm Avenue, Fremont, CA – Parking at Mission San Jose High School – This is the biggest parking lot of the 3 and will likely have open spots throughout the duration of the tournament.

** Any team which withdraws after the application deadline of (October 1st) will not be eligible for a refund.
