Burpees for Boomers and Ballers 4

We’ve not forgot about the parents, I am sure you are all scratching at the door to get out and get some exercise. With gyms and parks closed we can be limited within our workouts, but we’ll be posting a number of workouts you can do in a very small space, and with very limited equipment needed. If you don’t have the equipment shown in the video, be creative and use alternative instruments, a few suggestions can be found in the video.

Workouts also appropriate for players, and can even be a family workout.

Psychology – Grit

We are facing a time where we feel we may be unable to achieve our goals due to the restrictions in place while we all fight against the spread of Covid-19. This important presentation brings you the importance of ‘grit’, and how even during this time we can continue to strive and make improvements to our personal goals, and optimize the skills we desire to improve.

Psychologically, the shelter in place is really challenging all, but we hope you use this presentation as a resource to keep moving forward. Don’t forget to also see our earlier presentations in ‘Mindset’, and ‘Resilience’.

Supporting the Community

The affects of the virus have been incredibly challenging for many people and for many businesses. With current restrictions on movement, it has created an economic strain for many of us, both individuals and organizations, and has had a huge impact on our psychosocial well-being. With that said, we can all work together on beating the virus and come through this stronger and better.

As a community soccer club, we also want to make sure we are aware of how our community is affected and ways in which we can help. As members of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, we were made aware of the Leadership Programs drive for the Tri-City Health Centers Food Farmacy. Food at this time has become an incredible concern for some, and especially for those in poor health. We are fortunate to be able to support this excellent cause due to your continued support of our program. Through this cause, members of our community will continue to receive food selected by dietitians to address specific health and wellness issues through a healthy eating lifestyle. If you would like to contribute on your own to this worthwhile cause, please use this link to donate – https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/WebLink.aspx?name=tricityhealth&id=10&fbclid=IwAR0TeojfLASYZX8aBxUJ_WRwlJl_JXW03OdrdfzZU28FaD2rgvimNbeJT4U
